This week I’m sharing from my M/M Romance with a side of kink, Silken Ropes. I’m bringing this novella back because my NaNo WIP is book two in that series. Right now it’s with a beta reader, and if the stars align I’ll release it in just over 5 weeks!
More on that later. For now, here’s a new year, new me snip featuring our Silken Ropes hero, Ross, and his gal-pal and Weight Watchers buddy, Janet. The first line is Janet’s.
“Don’t worry. Lightning won’t strike me for saying”—she cupped a hand between her mouth and Ross’s ear and whispered—“‘cocky’ in church.”
“What do you want to bet you’re down this week?”
“Waffling on the number now?” Janet grinned, and they moved forward another three steps.
“Nope. At least two pounds. I bet you one get out of a workout free card.”
Janet rolled her eyes. “You’re supposed to be more helpful than that.”
