The holidays mean decorating and entertaining, enjoying traditions. One tradition i’ve always enjoyed is the Advent Calendar. Some years when i was a kid we had one with chocolate kisses behind the doors, but mostly we used a construction paper chain to count the days until Christmas.

Erin McRae and Racheline Maltese have a different kind of advent event–theirs is populated with unlikable fictional characters. Anyone who knows me won’t be surprised to hear that i hadn’t even finished reading the announcement before i started an email to say i wanted to be a part of that! They were kind enough to sign me up, and today is my turn to show off my unlikable characters from my holiday novella, Cascades.
