This week I’m sharing another snip from Satin Sheets, Kink Awakenings: Book Two. Wes and Eoin are still in the speakeasy, and Eoin just asked what happened to make Wes wonder how kinksters figure out their fetishes. This snip is a little longer than 6 sentences for context and swoon-factor.

“Oh. Well. It was an ordinary thing so I’m not sure if it even qualifies.”

“A kink doesn’t have to be exotic. Some folx like to be spanked lightly with an open hand.” Eoin watched for any sign that was West’s kink but saw nothing to indicate it was. You’re baked, and deluded into thinking you can read his lovely mind. “Or it can be as simple as a blindfold or having your wrists held in place during sex.”

That’s it. Restricted movement.

West’s pupils dilated and the skin at his throat flushed a pretty pink. He got that dreamy half-faraway look in his dark eyes again too. For a moment Eoin was tempted to lean in and kiss those luscious full lips, but a heartbeat later he wondered if he was out of his mind.

Hello Snippetteers & Happy Valentine’s Day Weekend! ❤

This week I’m snippetting from my new release, Satin Sheets, Kink Awakenings: Book Two. The series follows men who don’t know they’re kinky through a sexy discovery phase and to their HEAs. Satin Sheets is an angsty and steamy Romance with age gap and a large dose of hurt/comfort.

This is from a scene in Eoin’s POV. He and Wes are in the cannabis speakeasy in the club, and Wes has just asked how someone figures out that they’re kinky.

“What seems to work for most people I’ve talked to is to explore what makes you happy, the things that give you peace. It’s not always about sex but it can be. When you have a feeling that something is speaking to you, slow down and listen. You might be surprised by what you learn about yourself. I was. I never expected that I’d get such deep satisfaction from giving another person what they need to be happy, to find peace, even if only for a little while.”

I’m such a lightweight. Two hits and I’m a kinky philosopher.

This week I’m snippetting from my upcoming release, Satin Sheets, Kink Awakenings: Book Two. The series follows men who don’t know they’re kinky through their awakening (or Awakinkening as the kid says) and their HEAs!

I’ll drop the blurb and lovely cover below, but first the snippet! This is an introduction to Wes and almost for Eoin too, all in a little over 6 sentences. I’m going over a final edit tomorrow so if you see a comma out of place it’s my fault (and I hope it doesn’t hurt too much :)).

At the thought of Aaron—his best friend since before pre-school—Wes nearly fell headlong into a panic attack, but the outer door opening distracted him. Distractions didn’t always pull him out, often the effect was the exact opposite, ratcheting up his anxiety until he could barely breathe—forget functioning around people. But the therapists had all told him things would get easier and if that was starting to happen, Wes would be nothing but grateful.

It didn’t hurt that the man who walked in, brushing rain from the shoulders of his coat, was handsome as a movie star with wide shoulders and a graceful neck. Wes loved broad shoulders, as long as they weren’t stand-ins for an actual neck. The man’s dark hair looked blood-red in the subdued lighting of the foyer.

Another association Wes pushed away as quickly as it popped into his head.
