Hello and welcome to my snippet!
Editing and the pretty things for Art House are finished so now all I have to do is wait two whole months to show it all off! The tortures authors bear for our art! *lol*
Oh, one thing I can probably share: Art House, Buchanan House: Book Six will be released on August 21! The cover is really lovely, but more about that later.
In October I started sharing snippets from the series and then got overwhelmed trying to finish up my recovery. The last one was from book two, so here’s something from book three, Tiny House, on the same theme–the ways different characters see the house itself.
The sight of Buchanan House never failed to stir Paulie’s emotions. On the one hand, it was a charming old hotel, meticulously restored and cared for by people he loved. On the other, it had stolen Nathan Lucas from Portland and the restaurant where they’d worked together. Two years before, if someone had asked whether Paulie wanted to live in the country, he would’ve laughed at the idea. Outside of Portland, where he’d lived his entire life? More than a weekend just sounded like crazy talk.
Thanks for reading!
