Another introduction…

1RainbowSnippetsBiFlagHola Snippetteers and welcome!

The novella I snippetted from last week (Buchanan House Book #5) has been accepted for publication by Dreamspinner Press! It’s a holiday novella that picks up ~9 months after Tiny House and tells the story of someone you might remember, Ryan Orchard.

Last week i shared Ryan’s first 6 (you can find that post here). Today, it’s time for the other guy’s turn. If you blinked you might have missed him in Tiny House, but Glenn Hernandez will be back in December in Holiday Weekend for a longer visit.

The usual warnings to squint and watch out for creative punctuation apply. 😉

I shoved both hands into the pockets of my jacket and started walking. Nobody was around to notice if I hugged myself as I ducked my head against the rain. It sucked to be thrown out of the bar, but there wasn’t much going on in there anyway.

A couple of years ago I would’ve owned that dude behind the bar. Long enough to get in, get hammered, and find someone with money burning holes in his pockets.

Obviously I shouldn’t have been there, shouldn’t have tried to get in–shouldn’t even be out with nothing to do and no place to be until work the next morning.

Thanks for reading!

  1. I’m wondering why he got thrown out and why he shouldn’t have been in there to begin with. Definitely want to know more. (And lovely weather. You sure you haven’t been in my town?)
