I’m horrible at remembering to do things “later”, so while I’m taking a break from editing CS here is my Sunshine Award post. I was tagged by two great ladies, Shehanne Moore and Noelle Clark! Both Shey and Noelle are fellow Etopia Press authors, and I hope you’ll take a moment to check out their new releases. Now wouldn’t be a bad time, since this award requires I talk about myself, which isn’t as interesting as a good Romance. 🙂
The Sunshine Award, like most everything else, comes with a set of rules. I’ll do my best to follow them, but I’m not making any promises.
(1) Thank the person who gave you the award in your blog post. [Done! Off to a good start!]
(2) Do the Q&A below. [Shouldn’t be too hard.]
(3) Pass on the award to 10-12 deserving and inspiring bloggers, inform them and link to their blogs. [Here’s where it all goes off the rails. More later.]
Favourite Colour: Purple. Just about everything I own that comes in purple, is purple. If I have to use something, like dinner plates or shower curtains, they should also be pretty.
Favourite Animal: Snow leopard. They’re pretty, and look sweet on the outside, but don’t fuck with one or you’ll be sorry. Plus, they’re perfectly happy on a mountaintop where they usually don’t have to worry about biting someone’s hand off on G.P.
Favourite Number: 13. Friday the 13th to be precise. It’s a lucky day for me, always has been.
Favourite Non-alcoholic drink: Diet Mt. Dew! It’s my D.O.C.
Facebook or Twitter: That’s hard. Both can be fun & both can be major time-sinks. But I’ll have to say Twitter. Less intrusion by management.
Your Passion: LGBT equality. If someone said I had to choose between a writing career and full equality, I’d have to sneak notebooks into the washroom.
Giving or getting presents: This may not sound sincere, but I love finding the perfect gift for someone I love. I wouldn’t turn down a present, but it’s more fun for me to give.
Favourite Day: The day in early September when it’s still warm and sunny but the kids are back in school so I get the beach all to myself.
Favourite Flowers: Spring bulbs. I can never choose between the daffodil or the iris.
Okay, that’s enough about me. *shivers* I really don’t like talking about me, it always sounds so boring . . . I mean, I already know all this stuff. *lol*
To address Rule 3: I’m not going to tag anyone specifically, but anyone reading this may consider themselves tagged if they’d like to be.
Don’t wait too long, or you may forget. This post will be usurped in a few hours by an interview with the wonderful Charlie Cochrane, who is very lovely and entertaining.
